Primary Victory Behind Us, November Victory Ahead

A note from Julie as campaign season gets underway…

A few months have passed since our incredible primary victory, and before anything else, I want to thank everyone who made that success possible. From neighbors who displayed signs and hosted meet-and-greets to volunteers who knocked on doors and reached out to voters, this campaign has always been powered by people who care deeply about our community. Together, we built something special, and we are grateful for every conversation, every contribution, and every vote.

With the primary behind us, we have officially kicked off the campaign for the November election. While there had been some uncertainty about whether Republicans would field a candidate, there will indeed be a contested race this fall. That means the work continues as we seek to bring transparent, fiscally responsible leadership and a community-first approach to the Kane County Board.

One of the biggest lessons from the primary was the power of grassroots engagement. I am grateful to the many supporters who devoted so many hours to my campaign — in support of me and in support of democracy. The countless doors knocked, conversations held, postcards personally written, and meet-and-greets hosted in homes across the district made a real difference. Frequent, personal connections with voters helped spread the message and build momentum, and we plan to continue some of those same people-centered efforts in the months ahead.

Campaigns also require resources, so keep an eye out for upcoming fundraisers and opportunities to support the effort. Every contribution, large or small, helps us reach voters and share my vision for Kane County.

Most importantly, there is a place for everyone on this team. Whether you enjoy talking with neighbors, making phone calls, hosting gatherings, helping behind the scenes, or simply wearing a button that displays your support for Julie, your support matters. Together, we can continue building the broad, grassroots coalition that brought us this far and carry that momentum all the way to victory in November.
